Good bye and Hello

Sorry for not posting anything at all lately. Still it has been a busy summer for me. I spent a lot of time taking photographs. Not much snowboarding though besides a couple of good early fall days on the Hintertuxer glacier and riding powder already last week on the Kitzsteinhorn. Which was epic. I am riding new boards as well.

At the moment I am snowboarding on all kinds of boards. Different brands, different shapes.The rocker evolution throughout the past years offers you a wide range of boards. Still trying to find out, which I like best. My old board, which served me well during all my recent competitions in the past couple of years, is now officially in my private snowboard museum.

Last week I decided to stop competitive snowboarding. I think now is a good time for me to ride more powder snow and let the younger generation compete at those great snowboard events. They nowadays progress the sport and show what is possible on those jumps. I will definitely miss these competitions but I am also looking forward to my new challenges. And I look back to all those years of competing with a big smile on my face. In the near future I want to publish a book. Besides working on that I am still following the fresh snow to get some powder turns and tricks on film and camera. Thanks to all of you for supporting me throughout all these competitions and I would be glad if you still follow me with my new projects.
